Background: Original Proposal for Boarding house (Affordable Rental Housing)

UPDATE 21 April 2015

Council won the court case and the application for a boarding house at 58-60 Karimbla Rd was refused by Commissioner Morris of the Land and Environment Court. 

Update 2/10/2015

The applicant lodged an appeal against the Courts’ refusal of the boarding house on the grounds that the Commissioner made a legal error.

The developer won the appeal on the 1st June 2016 however the property was sold off market on May 16 2016 and a town house development has been approved.
